The Russian method of ballet is the chosen method taught at the Murilova School of dance.It is a method that encourages students to dance with more musicality and expression as well as ensuring a sound and solid technique.The Method is highly regarded at all major dance academies including the Royal Ballet School and White Lodge.

Weekly classes in classical ballet are held weekly from the ages of 3 years to advanced. Class sizes are kept small enough to ensure each pupil has individual attention so the student reaches their full potential. The number of pupils in the school is approximately 100 and Private coaching is available on request. The school is located In Broadstone community and arts centre, which has its own car park. The studio is well appointed with a wooden purpose built spring floor for sport, wall bars and a mirror. Pre school children are fortunate to have the services of a pianist.

The Murilova ballet school must be one of the longest established ballet schools in Dorset, having been opened by Nalda Murilova well over 50 years ago.
